Thank you for choosing us. These terms explain how your visits work, from your first consultation to your aftercare. We have written them as plainly as we can. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you book.
These terms apply to services provided by Daniela Tanevski trading as Mirage Medical Aesthetics (ABN 35 698 253 182), of 2/457 Heidelberg Road, Fairfield VIC 3078. In these terms, we, us and our mean that business. The terms also apply when you use this website. By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to them.
1. Who we can see
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We may ask you to show photo ID. This confirms your age and identity before a consultation or treatment.
2. Your consultation comes first
Every visit starts with a consultation. It is a live, in-person appointment at our clinic in Fairfield. We do not provide consultations by video, phone, email or online form.
At your consultation, your practitioner gets to know you, your skin and your goals. They explain your options, what each involves and what each costs.
A consultation does not commit you to anything. It also does not commit us to providing a treatment. We only recommend a treatment where your practitioner considers it clinically appropriate for you, after assessment. A treatment is never guaranteed. Some consultations end with advice, a later review, a referral to another practitioner, or a recommendation of no treatment.
3. Checking a procedure suits you
Before a cosmetic procedure, we look at your wellbeing as well as your skin. We talk with you about your reasons for wanting the procedure. We also assess for conditions such as body dysmorphic disorder. This follows the Guidelines for practitioners who perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures, published by Ahpra and the National Boards. They took effect on 2 September 2025.
If a procedure does not seem right for you at this time, we will not go ahead. We may suggest you talk with your GP or a psychologist. If you ever need support, you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14. In an emergency, call 000.
4. Time to decide
We encourage you to take your time. You do not need to decide on the day. If you choose a treatment, we book it as its own appointment. That gives you time to think it over and ask more questions. You can change your mind at any point before treatment begins.
5. Consent
Before any treatment, we explain what it involves. We cover the material risks, possible side effects, the alternatives (including no treatment) and the total cost. We then ask for your written consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time before treatment starts.
Sometimes a medicine is used outside its approved indication. If that applies to your treatment, we explain it to you before you consent. This is a lawful practice in Australian medicine when clinically appropriate and supported by professional judgement.
6. Prescriptions and your choice of pharmacy
Some treatments involve prescription medicines. A prescription is never guaranteed. The prescriber decides whether one is clinically appropriate, and only after a live consultation with you. An enquiry form or booking request is not a consultation. We do not prescribe in advance or in bulk.
Where a prescription is issued in your name, you can have it dispensed at any pharmacy you choose. We do not require you to use a particular pharmacy. Any medicine used in your treatment is supplied by an Australian pharmacy authorised under state and territory law.
7. Fees and payment
Our fees are private fees. We tell you the consultation fee before you book. We give you the price of any treatment in writing at your consultation, before you agree to it. Prices include GST where it applies. Payment is due at your appointment.
We do not sell packages, prepaid bundles or gift cards. We do not discount treatments. You only pay for the appointments you decide to have.
8. Deposits and cancellations
We may ask for a deposit to hold your appointment. If a deposit applies, we tell you the amount in writing when you book. The deposit comes off the cost of that appointment.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please let us know as early as you can. We tell you our notice period in writing when you book. If you cancel with less notice, or do not attend, you may lose some or all of your deposit. The booking confirmation sets out exactly how this works.
If we need to cancel or move your appointment, you will not lose anything. We refund your deposit in full or move it to your new appointment. You choose which.
9. Aftercare and if something feels wrong
We give you written aftercare instructions and a way to reach us. Please follow them closely.
If something feels wrong after your treatment, contact the clinic straight away on 0468 964 303. Please do not wait for your next appointment.
If your symptoms are severe, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. Severe symptoms include changes to your vision, trouble breathing, or pain that is severe or getting worse.
10. Your records and confidentiality
We keep a clinical record of your care. We handle your information as set out in our Privacy Policy. Your information is confidential.
There are limited times when the law allows or requires us to share information without your consent. These include:
- where there is a serious threat to your life, health or safety, or to someone else's;
- where we have a mandatory child protection reporting duty;
- where we must make a notification under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (section 140);
- where a court order, subpoena or other law requires it.
11. Other providers
Sometimes a pharmacy, pathology service or other provider is part of your care. That provider is responsible for the service it gives you. This does not change our own professional duties to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence where the law does not allow it.
12. Using this website
Information on this website is general. It is not medical advice for you. Please read our Disclaimer.
The enquiry form is for general questions and booking requests. It is not a consultation or a clinical assessment. Sending it does not mean a treatment will be provided. Please do not send health details through the form.

14. Refunds
Fees are not refundable if you change your mind. This applies except as required under Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. That includes your right to a remedy where a service is not provided with due care and skill. If you are unhappy with your care, please tell us. We will listen and review it with you.
